Senior Cybersecurity Analyst

Job Summary

To enhance the security posture of the organization, the full-time Senior Cybersecurity Analyst will serve as a subject-matter expert in Microsoft Azure security and Data Loss Prevention (DLP), focusing on the design, implementation, and ongoing management of security controls while collaborating with various departments to promote security awareness and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and improve LSAC Security Policies, Procedures, and Best Practices while enhancing the formal Security Systems Program
• Oversee the design and deployment of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies across Microsoft 365 and Azure environments, ensuring the protection of sensitive data
• Monitor and respond to security incidents, conducting investigations and providing reports on data-handling risks and trends to IT leadership

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of IT experience with over 5 years in IT security, including at least 3 years securing Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments
• Demonstrated experience designing and managing Microsoft Purview solutions, including DLP policies and sensitivity labels
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure security, including identity and access management and network security
• Professional certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Information Security Administrator Associate or CISSP are strongly preferred
