Senior Cybersecurity Consultant

Job Summary

Delivering client-facing engagements, the full-time Senior Cybersecurity Consultant will focus on SIEM engineering, Microsoft security advisory and implementation, and security operations optimization while managing multiple projects and producing client-ready artifacts.

Key responsibilities

• Lead SIEM design and implementation for both new and existing security operations centers, including data-source onboarding and custom detection content
• Integrate and operationalize Microsoft Defender XDR and provide hands-on configuration for various Microsoft security tools
• Facilitate workshops, capture client requirements, and support pre-sales efforts with technical scope and effort estimates

Required qualifications

• Proven experience in senior consulting or professional services delivery, including client workshops and engagement management
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Sentinel engineering, including analytic rule design and optimization
• Experience producing detection design records (AIR DDRs) for use case scenarios and tuning notes
• Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Defender XDR in a detection or SOC-integration context
• Experience with Microsoft Purview configuration in a security or compliance context
