Senior Cybersecurity Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to design, develop, and implement cybersecurity solutions for complex information systems and cloud environments, while working in a hybrid remote setting to support federal clients and ensure compliance with cybersecurity requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain cybersecurity solutions for enterprise IT and cloud environments
- Provide technical expertise in security architecture, security engineering, and cloud security across the system lifecycle
- Translate customer and cybersecurity requirements into actionable technical requirements for project teams
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of Information Security experience, including 1 year in Cybersecurity and Cloud Security for a large government agency
- Demonstrated expertise in security architecture and security engineering
- Experience supporting federal Assessment and Authorization (A&A) and Authority to Operate (ATO) activities
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent certifications (IAT III, IAM III, IASAE III)
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity architecture, engineering, and authorization requirements, including FedRAMP and RMF
