Senior Cybersecurity Engineer
Job Summary
To strengthen the organization's security posture, the full-time Senior Cybersecurity Engineer will design, implement, and continuously improve cybersecurity capabilities across various domains, working remotely while focusing on hands-on technical engineering tasks.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and optimize Microsoft Sentinel for security operations and monitoring
- Develop and tune detection capabilities using Microsoft Defender XDR and proactively hunt for threats
- Implement and maintain security controls across identity and cloud environments, emphasizing Zero Trust principles
Required qualifications:
- 7-10+ years of hands-on experience with a bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, cybersecurity, or equivalent
- Strong practical experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender XDR, and KQL
- Demonstrated experience with incident response, threat detection, and security investigations
- Hands-on experience with vulnerability management and security remediation
- Experience implementing Zero Trust security principles in an enterprise environment
