Senior Cybersecurity Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting the core program team, the fully remote Senior Cybersecurity Engineer will maintain and enhance the cybersecurity posture of cloud environments, ensuring secure access to DoD resources while collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop security capabilities.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and improve the cybersecurity posture of the cloud platform stack across classified and unclassified environments
- Identify, analyze, prioritize, and remediate vulnerabilities across cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes environments, and applications
- Integrate security controls and automated security testing into DevSecOps workflows
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, cloud security, or related technical disciplines
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- IAT Level III certification for security-focused personnel
- Experience securing workloads in AWS, Azure, or other enterprise cloud environments
- Understanding of GitOps, CI/CD, and DevSecOps security practices
