Senior Cybersecurity Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Senior Cybersecurity Engineer, this remote position will manage threat detection and response efforts, investigate cybersecurity threats, and coordinate incident response activities while collaborating with a Managed Services SOC.
Key responsibilities:
- Triage escalated cyber alerts and coordinate with internal stakeholders
- Investigate email, host, and network-based cybersecurity threats
- Develop and implement security orchestration and automation processes
Required qualifications:
- 7+ years of cybersecurity experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC)
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience
- Experience with SIEM, SOAR, and email security platforms
- Understanding of the Cyber Kill Chain and MITRE/ATT&CK Framework
- Experience with scripting automation in Python or other languages
