Senior Cybersecurity Specialist

Job Summary

Demonstrating senior-level expertise in cybersecurity incident detection and response, the full-time Senior Cybersecurity Specialist will monitor a SIEM platform, investigate alerts, and initiate incident response processes within a 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC).

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and report on cyber threats using SIEM and various security tools
• Investigate intrusion attempts and conduct in-depth analysis of exploits
• Develop and follow operational processes for analyzing and remediating information security incidents

Required qualifications

• Direct experience in Security Operations Center work, Incident Response, or Threat Analysis
• Strong knowledge of the incident response lifecycle and analysis techniques
• Familiarity with IDS/IPS, firewalls, and SIEM in large enterprise environments
• High school diploma or equivalent required; a college degree is a plus
• Ability to acquire in-depth knowledge of network and host security technologies
