Senior Data Analyst

Job Summary

Working full-time as a Senior Data Analyst within the Absence Consulting Practice, the candidate will produce standard and ad hoc reporting packages to provide insights into leave of absence, disability, and life insurance for employers, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance client value.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver claims reporting packages for employers as part of the customer business team
• Conduct analysis for annual and ad-hoc reporting, including creating and maintaining customer dashboards and data pipelines
• Leverage analytics expertise to design innovative reporting solutions and present data visualizations to clients

Required qualifications

• BA or BS degree in a quantitative field
• Basic understanding of health, disability, and life data
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and intermediate or advanced knowledge in Power BI or similar platforms
• Basic knowledge of programming languages such as R or Python and SQL/query tools
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to explain complex data to diverse audiences
