Senior Data Analyst
Job Summary
To support a growing analytics team, the remote Senior Data Analyst will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver actionable insights from complex healthcare datasets, focusing on operationalizing solutions and enhancing business outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of analytic insights by translating business priorities into analytical approaches and methodologies
- Develop decision-ready insights through clear visualizations and actionable recommendations for diverse audiences
- Collaborate with Data Scientists and Analysts to support exploratory analyses and maintain data quality standards
Required qualifications
- 5-8+ years of experience in a healthcare-based analytics role, preferably within the health benefits or insurance industry
- Extensive hands-on experience with administrative healthcare data, including medical and pharmacy claims
- Strong SQL skills for building and optimizing complex analytical queries
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools, such as Tableau
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative/analytic field; Master's degree or equivalent work experience preferred
