Senior Data Analyst, Finance

Job Summary

Supporting financial planning and analysis activities, the full-time Senior Data Analyst, Finance will focus on inventory accounting, cost of goods sold, and financial performance while working remotely to provide insights and reporting that enhance decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze key financial metrics and prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc financial reports to support management decision-making
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory management and cost reporting
• Develop advanced SQL queries and analytical models to consolidate data and improve reporting accuracy and efficiency

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics with 3-5 years of financial analysis experience, preferably in inventory or COGS
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, particularly related to inventory and COGS accounting
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP, and financial reporting tools
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Alteryx, or Power BI
• Ability to build relationships across departments and work collaboratively in a dynamic environment
