Senior Data Analytics Engineer
Job Summary
To build and scale data products and analytical foundations, the full-time remote Senior Data Analytics Engineer will design, develop, and maintain production-grade analytical models and semantic layers, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance data usability and support decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and maintain analytical data models using dbt and Databricks
- Establish semantic models for consistent business metrics and reduce duplicated logic across reporting tools
- Develop automation scripts and utilities to streamline data preparation and operational workflows
Required Qualifications
- At least 10 years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or business intelligence
- Advanced SQL skills and production experience with dbt and Databricks
- Strong understanding of dimensional modeling, Gold-layer architecture, and data governance
- Proficiency in Python and experience with automation and scripting
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and modern software development practices
