Senior Data Architect
Job Summary
Hands-on and technically proficient, the full-time Senior Data Architect will design scalable and secure data platforms on the Snowflake Data Cloud, addressing complex architectural challenges while influencing executive-level direction remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable data platforms to support enterprise analytics and AI-native applications
- Serve as the primary technical authority on Snowflake Data Cloud strategy, focusing on cost-efficiency and security
- Address complex architectural problems and collaborate with executive leadership to influence data strategy
Required qualifications
- 10-15 years of experience in Solution Architecture and Data Management
- Expertise in Snowflake, including virtual warehouses, Snowpark, and data sharing
- Advanced knowledge of data modeling techniques such as Data Vault 2.0 and Kimball dimensional design
- Proficiency in dbt for modular transformation layer design and CI/CD integration with Snowflake
- Experience with Python/Snowpark for developing custom UDFs and ML pipelines
