Senior Data Architect

Job Summary

Leading the design and architecture of a complex cloud-based data platform, the remote contract Senior Data Architect will serve as the senior technical authority, defining the platform foundation, security model, integration strategy, and delivery roadmap for a large-scale cloud and AI transformation project.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architecture discovery, solution design, and technical planning activities
• Define cloud platform architecture and infrastructure standards
• Create scalable data ingestion, processing, and delivery solutions

Required Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing enterprise-scale data platforms in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Strong background delivering cloud architecture across complex environments
• Deep expertise with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
• Experience integrating data platforms, APIs, streaming technologies, and cloud services
• Strong understanding of security, access management, governance, and compliance controls
