Senior Data Architect

Job Summary

To drive impactful data and AI solutions for private equity portfolio companies, the full-time Senior Data Architect will design, build, and scale modern data platforms while leading a cross-functional team and remaining hands-on throughout the implementation process in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define target-state data architectures and deliver scalable data platforms supporting analytics and AI
• Lead delivery across the full project lifecycle, including discovery, design, development, and deployment
• Mentor a team of data engineers and analysts, setting architecture and engineering standards while translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering or architecture, with at least 3 years in an architect or technical lead role
• Deep expertise in data architecture and modeling, including dimensional and Data Vault methodologies
• Hands-on experience with modern cloud data platforms such as Snowflake and Databricks
• Proven ability to lead and develop technical teams across diverse skill sets
• Strong programming skills in SQL and Python, with experience building data pipelines at scale
