Senior Data Backend Engineer
Job Summary
To support the development of high-performance AI data pipelines, the full-time Senior Data Backend Engineer will design and optimize microservices and data workflows for processing large volumes of autonomous vehicle data, working remotely or onsite in Santa Clara.
Key responsibilities:
- Scope and build tools, microservices, workflows, and distributed applications to enhance data mining and AI training
- Design and implement solutions for streaming, resilience, security, and data management
- Analyze and operationalize complex distributed systems for optimal performance
Required qualifications:
- MS with 6+ years or BS with 8+ years of experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Strong programming skills in Python or Golang
- Proficiency in technologies such as Kubernetes, Helm, Hive, Parquet, SQL, and vector databases like Milvus
- Experience in building ETL pipelines and working with big data engines
- Strong architectural skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving
