Job Summary
Leading development efforts, the full-time contract Senior Data Developer will design, build, and maintain data-driven applications using Snowflake and Spark/Scala in a 100% remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data solutions utilizing Snowflake and Spark/Scala
- Document detailed system specifications and technical designs while participating in unit testing and release procedures
- Provide training and technical guidance to other developers, overseeing work results throughout the software development lifecycle
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in technical design and coding
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake and Apache Spark/Scala
- Proficiency in multiple object-oriented programming languages, such as Java, Python, or Scala
- Strong SQL skills with experience in relational databases like Oracle, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
