Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Sr. Data Engineer (Streaming Services).
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement real-time data streaming solutions using technologies like Apache Kafka and AWS Managed Streaming for Kafka
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and migrate on-prem ETL jobs to AWS Flink and Glue processes
- Collaborate with scrum teams to manage documentation, validate builds, and deploy at a 2-4 week sprint cadence
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience working with professional scrum teams or equivalent education
- Strong familiarity with Apache Kafka, Debezium, Kinesis, and MySQL
- 3+ years of experience designing and indexing relational databases
- 2+ years of experience operationalizing real-time data streams
- 1+ years of experience building dashboards for system monitoring
