Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Sr Data Engineer (SQL, Scala) to work remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement data structures, workflows, and integrations to support business processes
- Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and API integrations to manage increasing data volume
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate data analysis and ensure compliance with data governance standards
Required Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of experience with SQL and data processing systems; 2 to 3 years with Scala
- Experience with advanced analytics tools and languages such as Python or Java
- Database development experience with SQL, SPARK, or BigQuery, and familiarity with NoSQL databases
- Experience in data governance, quality, and security practices
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred
