Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support the growing Data team, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines within a Snowflake-based platform, integrating data from various AWS sources while ensuring secure and well-governed data delivery in a fully remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes within Snowflake
• Build data ingestion pipelines using AWS DMS, S3, and Lambda, as well as from external sources like client SFTP servers and REST APIs
• Orchestrate and monitor workflows using Apache Airflow and manage infrastructure as code with Terraform

Required Qualifications

• Deep expertise in Snowflake, including Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, and Snowpark (Python)
• Strong SQL skills with the ability to write and optimize complex transformation logic
• Experience orchestrating data workflows with Apache Airflow and managing cloud resources using Terraform
• 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering, particularly with production data pipelines in a cloud environment
• Solid understanding of data security practices, including encryption and access control design
