Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing team, the part-time contract Senior Data Engineer will design and optimize scalable data solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Azure while collaborating with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs and data models.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize scalable data solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Azure
- Develop and maintain Fabric Data Factory pipelines and orchestration processes for data ingestion and transformation
- Implement data quality, monitoring, security, and governance practices in alignment with enterprise standards
Required qualifications
- Over 2 years of experience designing and delivering modern data solutions on Microsoft Azure and/or Microsoft Fabric
- Experience developing and supporting Microsoft Fabric workloads, including Data Factory and Lakehouse
- Strong SQL development skills, including stored procedures and performance optimization
- Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into data models and technical solutions
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
