Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support a healthcare technology organization, the remote Senior Data/Platform Engineer will rebuild the company's data pipeline, modernize the platform, and establish scalable solutions for data ingestion, processing, and storage.
Key responsibilities
- Rebuild and modernize a legacy data pipeline, creating scalable and reliable ingestion, processing, and storage solutions
- Design and develop integrations for APIs, vendor file feeds, and other external data sources
- Develop and manage AWS infrastructure utilizing Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization best practices
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience building and supporting large-scale data platforms or data engineering environments
- Proven experience re-architecting or modernizing data pipelines and infrastructure
- Strong experience with Python, Node.js, or similar backend development technologies
- Deep knowledge of ETL processes, event-driven architectures, and system integrations
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, and containerization technologies
