Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

Hands-on and passionate about sustainability, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will build, operate, and maintain data systems that support internal and customer-facing analytics platforms while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Own and evolve the production data lake and Postgres data warehouse, ensuring data quality and access controls
• Integrate graph databases with existing data systems and migrate legacy pipelines to a governed integration layer
• Support and extend generative AI workflows to enhance data capabilities and maintain "AI-ready" infrastructure

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or data platform engineering
• Advanced SQL and relational database experience, particularly with Postgres and MongoDB
• Hands-on experience with graph databases and integrating them with data warehouses and lakes
• Familiarity with open table formats, medallion lake architectures, and distributed SQL engines
• Strong Python skills for automation and operational tooling
