Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing Data and AI team, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design and implement scalable data pipelines on AWS, transitioning from legacy systems to a cloud-native architecture while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and availability.
Key responsibilities
- Designs and implements scalable data-ingestion pipelines using AWS services and Azure DevOps
- Builds APIs and file upload mechanisms for client data ingestion and develops data mapping workflows for SQL Server databases
- Optimizes ETL/ELT processes and provides operational support for existing ingestion processes
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 7+ years in Data Engineering or a related role
- Strong experience with AWS services for data engineering
- Proficiency in Python and/or C# .NET for data processing and integration
- Hands-on experience with SQL Server and relational database concepts
