Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support the modernization of data ingestion processes, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design and implement scalable data pipelines using AWS services, contribute to the development of a data Lakehouse architecture, and ensure data quality for analytics and operational use cases while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Designs and implements scalable data-ingestion pipelines using AWS services and Azure DevOps
- Contributes to the design and implementation of a data Lakehouse architecture leveraging Databricks
- Optimizes ETL/ELT processes for performance and reliability while collaborating with analytics teams
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 7+ years in Data Engineering or a related role
- Strong experience with AWS services for data engineering (e.g., S3, Lambda, Glue)
- Proficiency in Python and/or C# .NET for data processing and integration
- Hands-on experience with SQL Server and relational database concepts
