Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
Focusing on the modernization and integration of an enterprise Data Warehouse, the remote Senior Data Engineer will build and maintain data pipelines, develop relational and semantic data models, and support migration initiatives using Microsoft Fabric and Azure technologies over a contract duration of 6-12 months.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain data pipelines integrating various data sources
- Assess and transition relational and semantic data models to Microsoft Fabric
- Implement production-grade pipeline controls and troubleshoot data quality issues
Required qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric and Azure data services
- Proficiency in SQL/MS SQL Server and ETL/ELT pipeline development
- Knowledge of relational and semantic data modeling
- Experience with Power BI data integration and modeling
- Understanding of data governance and metadata management
