Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
Leading the design and implementation of a modern cloud-based data platform, the fully remote Senior Data Engineer will build scalable data solutions, optimize integrations, and mentor team members in a collaborative environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows
- Utilize Microsoft Azure Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Spark, and Python to automate and enhance complex data processes
- Provide technical leadership through code reviews, mentorship, and guidance on data engineering best practices
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of data engineering experience with strong expertise in SQL, Python, and modern data platforms
- Experience with Microsoft Azure Fabric preferred; candidates with Snowflake or Databricks experience will also be considered
- Hands-on experience with data orchestration tools such as Azure Data Factory and strong understanding of ETL and data modeling concepts
- Leadership experience within a small or mid-sized environment, demonstrating the ability to mentor team members
- Must reside in the Eastern or Central Time Zone and be authorized to work in the United States
