Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support an established organization in the hospitality and travel technology industry, the fully remote Senior Data Engineer will design, modernize, and optimize enterprise data platforms, serving as a hands-on technical leader while mentoring engineers and building scalable cloud-based data solutions.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and enhance cloud-based data pipelines, integrations, and ETL processes
- Lead technical decision-making related to data architecture and platform modernization
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into sustainable data solutions
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional data engineering experience with strong expertise in SQL and Python
- Experience developing solutions within Microsoft Azure, including Azure Data Factory
- Proven leadership experience in architecture design and technical ownership
- Strong understanding of ETL development, data modeling, and API integrations
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake, or AWS is highly preferred
