Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
Architecting and optimizing enterprise-scale data platforms, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design and build data structures and pipelines, provide technical leadership in SQL engineering and ETL/ELT development, and implement cloud-native data solutions in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize data solutions for analytics, reporting, and operational workloads
- Architect scalable data structures and enterprise data pipelines from the ground up
- Lead database performance tuning and develop expert-level SQL solutions
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related disciplines
- Demonstrated experience building enterprise-scale data architectures and cloud-based data platforms
- 5 years of SQL development experience, including query creation and large-scale data analysis
- Power BI expertise, including DAX, Power Query, and complex visualizations
