Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing organization, the remote contract-to-hire Senior Data Engineer will independently build, support, and troubleshoot production data pipelines while enhancing the reliability and quality of the data ecosystem.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines, ensuring data integrity across operational and warehouse environments
- Resolve complex data discrepancies and support reporting and analytics needs
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, fostering skill development within the team
Required qualifications
- Strong SQL skills with experience in operational databases and data warehouses
- Hands-on experience with Python for data engineering and automation
- Experience designing and supporting production ETL/ELT pipelines
- Proficiency with AWS data services, including AWS Glue and Redshift
- Experience with dbt for data transformation and modeling
