Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support advanced analytics initiatives, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure on AWS while collaborating with data scientists and analysts in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks
- Architect secure enterprise cloud storage solutions, including ADLS Gen2 and Delta Lake
- Collaborate with BI teams to model dimensional data marts for reporting purposes
Required qualifications:
- Proven experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Azure Databricks
- Strong knowledge of cloud storage solutions, including ADLS Gen2 and relational/NoSQL databases
- Experience with data governance and automated data quality validation techniques
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps and CI/CD best practices for infrastructure deployment
- Ability to optimize database queries and data pipeline performance
