Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will manage application support and maintenance, collaborate with teams on coding tasks, and ensure adherence to development standards while analyzing system performance in financial systems.
Key responsibilities:
- Learn and support applications, ensuring proper understanding of business requirements for coding
- Participate in Agile meetings and collaborate with teams to plan and execute coding tasks
- Monitor production environments and implement changes for performance improvements
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 2-6+ years of experience as a Data Developer or Engineer
- Experience with SQL Server and related tools (SQL queries, SSIS, SSRS)
- Familiarity with source version control tools (Stash, GIT, Bitbucket)
- Basic understanding of data integrity, governance, and architecture
- Knowledge of financial concepts such as accounts payable and general ledger
