Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support CloudBlue's data and analytics platform, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design, build, and evolve scalable data infrastructure while focusing on AI-driven capabilities in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain a high-volume, high-performance data fabric, including real-time ingestion, data pipelines, storage, and analytics
- Own features end to end, from technical design and implementation through testing and production
- Drive the adoption of AI across the platform and develop AI-powered workflows and capabilities
Required qualifications
- Strong professional software engineering experience with a background in building data-intensive systems
- Extensive experience in building data pipelines and data models, including production-scale workloads
- Hands-on experience with Python and event-streaming technologies such as Kafka or similar
- Experience with cloud-native infrastructure like Azure, AWS, or GCP, and containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong experience designing and integrating APIs, along with knowledge of PostgreSQL and relational databases
