Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
Building Teleport's internal data platform, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design and manage data pipelines and warehouses, transforming raw data into usable insights for teams across the company while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design and operate a low-maintenance cloud data warehouse and transformation workflow
- Model data from various sources into coherent business entities and metrics
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define key concepts and ensure data quality
Required qualifications
- Experience building a data engineering function from scratch at a startup
- Strong SQL and dimensional or analytical data-modeling expertise
- Production experience with dbt or an equivalent SQL transformation workflow
- Experience with cloud data warehouses like Redshift, Snowflake, or BigQuery
- Practical experience with Python or Go, CI/CD, and cloud operations
