Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Senior Data Engineer, this position will design and maintain scalable data pipelines and reporting solutions, collaborating closely with the Global Payments Team to enhance payment, subscription, and risk experiences for PlayStation's direct-to-consumer business.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and reporting solutions for GPFD teams
- Develop reliable, governed, and AI-ready data products to support analytics and automation
- Partner with data scientists and stakeholders to deliver trusted data for production workflows
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 7+ years of experience in data engineering, database development, or data analysis
- Strong SQL, data modeling, and performance-optimization skills
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript
- Experience preparing data for analytics, AI, or ML use cases, including data quality and governance
