Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will build and support scalable data infrastructure solutions, design and maintain reliable data pipelines, and modernize existing data processes for business partners, analysts, and data science teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, automate, and maintain data pipelines using various data sources, including relational databases and cloud storage
• Contribute to code reviews, create automated testing and documentation, and integrate data products into business applications
• Support analytics and data science teams by building reliable data ingestion and processing solutions

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field, or a minimum of four years of relevant work experience
• Minimum of two years of experience in designing, programming, and supporting software applications
• Strong hands-on experience with data pipelines and data infrastructure solutions across various platforms
• Knowledge of cloud data engineering practices, including AWS services and ETL/ELT patterns
• Ability to collaborate effectively with application teams and mentor less experienced team members
