Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support enterprise analytics and AI/ML initiatives, the full-time remote Senior Data Engineer will design, build, and operationalize scalable data solutions using Azure Databricks, PySpark, and SQL while providing technical leadership and mentoring junior engineers.
Key responsibilities
- Architect and implement end-to-end data solutions and maintain data pipelines for specific use cases
- Drive automation in data integration and develop reusable pipeline templates for ingestion and transformation
- Lead technical design reviews and collaborate with business stakeholders to align data engineering with organizational objectives
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5-8 years of experience designing and developing enterprise-scale data solutions
- Expert-level proficiency in Databricks, Azure Fabric, PySpark, SQL, and Azure DevOps
- Strong experience with Azure Data Factory, ADLS Gen2, and Azure SQL Server
- Experience in life sciences or healthcare industries is a strong plus
