Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and deliver data and AI infrastructure for an enterprise agentic AI platform in a remote, full-time capacity, where the engineer will manage end-to-end features, contribute to architectural decisions, and enhance existing systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and deploy data and AI/ML systems on AWS, including data lake pipelines and observability instrumentation
- Maintain and evolve production platforms, ensuring reliability and scalability while monitoring for drift and debugging issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering work with broader platform and business goals
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software or data engineering experience, with 2+ years focused on building data platforms or AI/ML systems on AWS
- Strong software engineering skills in Python and SQL, or similar languages
- AWS Certified Data Engineer - Associate or a clear path to obtaining the certification
- Hands-on experience with data lakes on AWS, including S3, Glue, and Athena, as well as exposure to streaming technologies
- Experience with observability tools for distributed systems, including CloudWatch and OpenTelemetry
