Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
Analyzing and optimizing data flows, the contract Senior Data Engineer will assess the feasibility of converting Provider subject area processing to incremental methods while collaborating with data architecture teams and producing technical documentation.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze current Provider subject area architecture and assess incremental processing feasibility
- Develop recommended design patterns for incremental processing and create validation strategies
- Collaborate with teams to align future-state designs with enterprise standards and produce technical documentation
Required qualifications
- Advanced SQL development and data analysis skills
- Experience with incremental processing and change data capture (CDC) solutions
- Strong understanding of ETL pipeline development and optimization
- Experience with large-scale healthcare datasets and relevant data domains
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as Databricks or Spark
