Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing data engineering team, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will build and scale data pipelines for ingestion into Snowflake, design automated systems for data engineering tasks, and collaborate cross-functionally to enhance data infrastructure in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain reliable data pipelines for a $750M+ e-commerce business
- Design and implement automated systems for pipeline generation, testing, and maintenance
- Collaborate with product, analyst, and ML teams to deliver comprehensive data solutions
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in data engineering with a focus on production-grade systems
- Proficiency in Python and experience with Airflow and dbt
- Familiarity with AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, and EKS
- Experience building production AI/LLM systems and data workflows
- Knowledge of modern cloud data warehouses like Snowflake
