Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To build and scale the data platform that powers analytics and operational intelligence, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design and implement data systems, ensuring data quality and performance while collaborating across teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own the design and implementation of the data platform, including data warehousing, pipelines, and transformation layers
• Build data quality checks and enforce governance patterns to maintain data integrity and correctness
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data solutions that meet business needs and enable self-service analytics

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering experience with ownership of platform architecture and data pipelines
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python, with hands-on experience in modern data stacks and transformation frameworks like dbt
• Experience with data warehouses such as Redshift, Snowflake, or BigQuery, and data replication pipelines
• Solid understanding of dimensional modeling, data quality patterns, and compliance requirements in regulated domains
• Familiarity with AWS data services and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform
