Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support innovative healthcare technology, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design and develop ETL/ELT solutions on Azure Databricks, build large-scale data pipelines, and mentor junior engineers in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop ETL/ELT solutions and large-scale data pipelines for analytics and machine learning
- Implement data integration from various sources and optimize SQL for performance
- Mentor other data engineers and participate in the architectural evolution of data engineering practices
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in data engineering, data integration, and ETL/ELT processes
- 5+ years of experience in Python programming
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Apache Spark (PySpark/Spark SQL)
- 2+ years of experience building cloud-based solutions using Azure Databricks
- Experience with API design and lifecycle management (GraphQL, REST)
