Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
Owning production data systems end to end, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design ingestion patterns, define contracts between systems, and improve pipeline performance while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage production data systems from ingestion through delivery
- Design ingestion patterns that accommodate various data challenges
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data representation requirements
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree at a minimum
- 5+ years of experience building production data systems
- Strong SQL and data modeling fundamentals
- Experience designing and operating batch and asynchronous data pipelines
- Proficiency in Python for data pipelines and tooling
