Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support the CloudBlue business, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design, build, and evolve a data and analytics platform with a strong focus on AI-driven capabilities, working remotely to create scalable data infrastructure and integrate AI into backend services and workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain a high-volume, high-performance data fabric, including real-time ingestion and data pipelines
• Drive the adoption of AI across the platform and develop AI-powered workflows and capabilities
• Design and integrate APIs that connect data, services, and business workflows across the CloudBlue ecosystem

Required qualifications

• Strong professional software engineering experience with a background in building data-intensive systems
• Extensive experience in building data pipelines and data models for production-scale workloads
• Hands-on experience with Python and event-streaming technologies such as Kafka or similar
• Experience with cloud-native infrastructure like Azure, AWS, or GCP, and containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes
• Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL and relational databases, along with experience in designing and integrating APIs
