Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
Working fully remotely, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design, build, and maintain data pipelines for healthcare data onboarding, utilizing modern cloud technologies such as Databricks, PySpark, and Snowflake while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient project execution.
Key responsibilities
- Design and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines on Databricks using PySpark and Python
- Onboard customer data by transforming claims and EMR data to fit the MDaudit data model
- Monitor and troubleshoot customer data feeds, ensuring data integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science, Health Informatics, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL/ELT, and data warehousing
- 3+ years of programming experience with Python and advanced SQL
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Databricks and PySpark
- 2+ years of experience in the healthcare industry, preferably in revenue cycle management
