Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Naval Research & Development Establishment, the remote Senior Data Engineer will design, implement, and optimize data systems and pipelines for AI/ML applications, collaborating with technical teams to ensure scalable and reliable data processing.
Key responsibilities:
- Analyze use cases and high-level requirements to define detailed requirements for data solutions
- Establish and update data architectures, standards, transformations, and integrations
- Provide automation through the development and deployment of modern software solutions
Required qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in data management and analysis supporting corporate operations
- 3 years of experience in Business Intelligence, including designing dashboards with the QLIK Advana reporting suite
- Technical skills in Python, SQL, data modeling, APIs, and data architecture
- Experience with AI libraries and varied data visualization techniques
- BS degree in relevant fields such as Computer Science, Mathematics, or Business Intelligence
