Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance data accessibility and governance, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will build and maintain data systems, ensuring reliability and support for both human analysts and AI agents in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop data pipelines, models, and workflows to ensure data quality and accessibility across the organization
• Implement governance practices for data definitions and semantic models, enabling consistent usage across teams
• Collaborate with engineering teams to support the deployment and monitoring of production ML models

Required qualifications

• Experience with data warehousing solutions, particularly Snowflake, and transformation tools like dbt
• Proficiency in SQL and understanding of data ingestion tools such as Airbyte and Hevo
• Familiarity with MongoDB and Postgres as source systems
• Strong technical background in data pipelines, semantic modeling, and governance
• Ability to demonstrate first-principles thinking and a customer-centric approach to data solutions
