Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing data platform, the remote Senior Data Engineer will design, build, and operate scalable data pipelines and trusted data products while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance data quality and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable batch, streaming, and event-driven data pipelines integrating various data sources into a modern cloud data platform
• Develop reusable data products and models to support analytics and operational decision-making across the organization
• Enhance data quality and observability through automated validation, monitoring, and proactive alerting systems

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in designing and operating scalable data pipelines and enterprise data platforms
• Advanced SQL and strong Python skills, with a focus on maintainable production-quality code
• Hands-on experience with modern cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery
• Strong understanding of data modeling principles and experience with ETL/ELT workflows using tools like dbt and Airflow
• Experience with streaming architectures and a solid grasp of modern data architecture patterns
