Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support the evolution of the organization's enterprise data platform strategy, the full-time remote Senior Data Engineer will define data standards, drive Snowflake platform maturity, and establish governance practices while migrating legacy data assets into a scalable and reliable enterprise data ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement data standards and governance frameworks for enterprise data management
- Drive the maturity of the Snowflake platform and oversee the migration of legacy data assets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen architectural foundations and engineering standards
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business Management, Information Services, or equivalent experience
- 5 years of related experience, preferably in software development
- Extensive experience with object-oriented programming in languages such as C#, Java, or Python
- Experience with SQL integration development and source code control systems like Git
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Azure DevOps, TFS, and Jira
