Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support the evolution of the enterprise data platform strategy, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will work remotely to define data standards, drive Snowflake platform maturity, and oversee the migration of legacy data assets into a reliable enterprise data ecosystem.
Key responsibilities
- Define and implement data governance and metadata practices
- Complete the migration of legacy data assets to modern data solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data architecture and engineering standards
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business Management, Information Services, or equivalent experience
- 5 years of related experience, preferably in software development
- Extensive experience with object-oriented programming in languages such as C#, Java, or Python
- SQL integration development experience with SQL/NoSQL databases
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Azure DevOps, TFS, and Jira
