Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support the evolution of the organization's enterprise data platform strategy, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will define data standards, drive Snowflake platform maturity, and complete the migration of legacy data assets while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Define and establish data governance and metadata practices for the enterprise data ecosystem
- Lead the migration and modernization of legacy data assets into a scalable and reliable platform
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to strengthen architectural foundations and engineering standards
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business Management, Information Services, or equivalent experience
- 5 years of related experience, preferably in software development
- Extensive experience with object-oriented programming in C#, Java, Python, or equivalent
- Experience with SQL integration development and source code control systems like Git
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies and tools such as Azure DevOps and Jira
